Experiential Learning Opportunities with Colgate-Palmolive

caring innovative growth companyThe Colgate-Palmolive Experiential Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) is a year-long program designed to:

  • Enhance PhD candidates’ skills via industry-based experiential learning
  • Provide a talent pipeline for Colgate bridging BS/MS internships and post-docs

The ELOP projects and activities elevate the participants’ technical competency when creating new inventions, operating advanced instruments and publishing results. The ELOP program also sharpens soft skills by engaging in internal and external collaborations, interpreting and communicating complex results to Colgate executives, groups, and the Rutgers community.

Site Visits to Industry Partners

Industry site visits expose students to nonacademic career paths, demonstrate how research and technical skills apply in industry, and allow students to build connections with PhD professionals and hiring managers.
